Here at the Astley you can enjoy the kind of
atmosphere you only find in a traditional English pub .
Be prepared for a warm welcome from Tash, Tony and all the staff. We offer a
selection of excellent draught and bottled beers and we pride ourselves in
having one of the best collection of spirits in the area. But most of all we are
proud of the great reputation The Astley Arms has for being ‘one of the
friendliest pubs in the area''.
Our customers are a mixture of town
folk and visitors from elsewhere enjoying a relaxed
atmosphere and the opportunity to participate in numerous activities. Have a
look at our Not to be Bored To Do List and you will understand that there is
always something to do at the Astley. Currently
we host one Ladies' Darts team, two pool teams and The Astley Lions
11-a-side football
team and Astley FC 6-a-side football team. We have all main sports events shown on large TV screens and we offer
great entertainment on weekends: in-house karaoke and artists, quizzes, bingo, card
bingo and play your cards right. Families with children are welcome. At the rear of the pub there is
a garden with plenty of seating, a barbecue, a playground and a Pets' Corner.
If you are organizing a party, family gathering or a corporate event we'll be
happy to provide catering and arrange entertainment.
